Introduction

Valangaiman Kashiviswanathar Temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva, located in the Valangaiman, Thiruvarur district, Tamil Nadu. The road directly opposite the temple is called Kasi Viswanathar Street. Here the Lord Kashi Vishwanath has a facing east temple. Nandi is in a hall before the Lord. It may be 600 years old as it has conical halls and is currently managed by the eighth heir of the Valangaiman town.

In front hall in front of the sanctum sanctorum there is a Nagar with Vinayagar on the left side. Tenmukan is in the Goshtas, Vinayaka and Murugan in the separate sanctum. In the north-east, Bhairava Sun and Moon shrines are seen. Unwanted furniture, tattered canopies, fallen garlands and flowers are also seen in the temple premises.
