Introduction

Located on Mayor Chittibabu Street, Thiruvallikeni, there is the “Sri Veera Anjaneyar” temple, established by Vyasaraja. Entering Mayor Chittibabu Street and reaching the middle, the tower of the colorful Anjaneyar temple facing north is located.

Special Features

The Sri Veera Anjaneya idol in this temple is one of 732 Veera Anjaneya idols installed by Sri Vyasaraja Theerthar across India.
The temple was established in 1522 AD, as per the inscription.
Nearby, there is a small Ganesha shrine; despite its size, devotees believe that prayers here bring results.
The Utsava Hanuman is located near the main Sri Veera Anjaneya Swamy.
Hanuman in this temple faces east while blessing the devotees.
The temple houses eight Salagramas, including a Veda Vyasa Salagrama and a Narasimha Salagrama, which are considered special.
The temple has a huge tree, and Nagas have been enshrined within a part of it.
