Introduction
Location:
- Situated in Poolankuruchi village, near Ponnamarathy, Pudukottai district, Tamil Nadu.
- 5 km from Ponnamarathy.
- The temple is located on a mountain range to the north and west of Singaravelan.
Deity: The presiding deity is Singaravelan (Lord Murugan) with His consorts Valli and Deivanai.

- The temple is believed to be over 1000 years old.
- The temple features 32 pillars on the porch through the main gate and a three-tiered royal tower at the entrance.
- A sacred Tirtha pond called Shanmuganathi lies to the east of the temple.
