Introduction

Bhadreswara Temple is located in Mahanga Katikata Road, Kataka (Cuttack), Odisha temple built around 11th Century. There was no prior information on this temple, except few short reference of a very ancient temple. A Shiva temple, though it had a lot of Carvings. Very unusual shape, or perhaps built during the later period of Somavanshis / Keshari Dynasty rule. Not much of information available to us from any sources or references yet this monument has all the contributions of highly skilled artisans and sculptors. Take the NH9A from Salepur towards KatiKata and continue for 12 km, until you the approach road on the left towards Mahanga at Ranipada. From there it is another 4 kms
