Puranic Significance

About 500 years ago, a person in this area suddenly lost his sight due to some reason and was stunned. He came to Vinayagar and prayed for months. Despite the advice of his relatives, the devotee decided to appeal to Lord Ganesha every day. Lord Ganesha, who solves the problems, thought that this devotee who has placed excessive faith in him should not be tested any more, and the devotee has regained his eyesight. After the event of giving sight to the devotee, this temple is named Siddhi Vinayagar. Later, a devotee set up a platform and worshiped Lord Ganesha there. The sanctum sanctorum, maha mandapam and separate sanctums for Lord Vinayaka have been constructed in this temple and the Ashta Bandana Maha Kumbabhishek ceremony has been successfully completed in the year 2016.

On entering the temple towards the east, in the Mahamandapam there is a view of the Altar, Mushika Vahanam, and darshan of Bala Vinayaka and Bala Murugan. In the sanctum sanctorum, Siddhi Ganesha, who gave the eyes of the Lord, blesses him as the one who can solve the evil. Dakshinamurthy, Lingotbhavar and Shiva Durgai reside in the koshta.
